If you are interested in taking classes about mold making or mask making we offer courses that will give you skills and information.

MOLD MAKING
Mold Making is an introductory course that will teach one how to make a mold from an original piece of art. The class will begin with discussions about various types of molds and strategies of what type of mold to use. Then a small print coat of rubber will be applied on the relief. The course will be kept simple by limiting the size of the sculpture being molded (approximately 12 x 12 x 12") and all forms will be approved by the instructor.

The second class will be plastering the rubber molds, 3D piece and the second coat of rubber will be applied. Class three will cover the finishing of the plaster molds. The remainder of classes will cover the completion of the molds and De-molding, as well as the wax pouring into the mother molds.

MASK MAKING
The Bronze Works offers a fun and comprehensive workshop that introduces the magic of mask making. Students will experience techniques in creating unique masks using a variety of materials; leather, felt, plastic, latex, etc. Students will have the opportunity to work with textiles and three dimensional objects to create dynamic, one of a kind masks. In addition, they will be given background about mask making and step by step instruction of mask building is provided. There will be a limit of one mask per student.
